Movie Playlist seen in Admin account but gone in Managed User account

I create Movie playlists for each child that and download the playlist to my kids tablets for vacations. Its much easier to download a playlist of movies that I can easily create then trying to download each movie they want individually. Old app had access to playlist for video. New app no longer has access to the movie playlist.

This may be deeper then the new app and possible an issue with permissions. I grant permissions to the managed user to see the playlist and I can’t see the playlists for the user in web now either. Been using this for years on the android plex app.

On Web I can find the playlists under Media now but no way to download the playlists. ALSO, THIS BREAKS IN THE NEW ANDROID APP. Clicking on Media never displays anything and then I can no longer see any movies in any library. I have to kill the app.

Shared playlists are only listed in a dedicated Shared section. They were not part of the library view.

This feature is not available in the new apps for new shared items (and seemingly not planned to be restored).

• Single Item Sharing: We’ll no longer offer the ability to grant access to single, individual items on a Plex Media Server (such as an individual playlist or single specific movie). Existing individual items will still remain accessible in the new apps. However, you will not be able to do so for new, individual items. You can continue to grant access to libraries on a Plex Media Server to family and close, personal friends.

I can have each kid create a playlist of vacation movies but I need the ability to download a playlist.

You cannot download playlists with the new app.
