I was playing a movie that just got stuck on buffering, endless (already after a few minutes playtime). It was played through Chromecast. MKV file that transcoded following:
HEVC4k → H264 1080p
DCA 7.1 → AAC 256 2ch

Player Version#: Chromecast
Took a server log from when it was stuck buffering: Plex Media Server Logs_2019-12-11_16-24-28.zip (4.7 MB)
I directly after tried to start it through the Samsung Smart Hub TV app to see if it did the same thing. Now the stream worked for the entirety of the movie. However, with Smart TV it Direct Play’ed both sound and video.

Some notable things have happened though:
- The Task Manager in Windows Server have become unresponsive
- PMS have lost feedback on CPU / RAM usage
- The server is lagging quite a lot as I’m typing this, can’t see what process is causing it but my guess is PMS
- The server is powerful enough to run multiple HD streams and has done so on other occasions.
Eventually I had to close down Remote Dekstop and finish this post on my other computer. The movie has played for 35min without any interrupts.
