I’ve been trying to get the movie trailer that shows up on the movie’s about page. This also includes the rotten tomato and movie critic score.
not a huge deal, but nice to have.
One of my sharing friends has it on all of his.
I’ve messed with settings every so often, and never got anywhere.
a few days ago, I added a new “3d movie” section, I only have a couple, and they’ve been confusing some of my friends, with the play version option, and picking the wrong one.
Now, after adding that section, anything I add to my previous movie folder, gets all the info.
(I don’t think I changed anything in settings)
If I remove an old movie from my movie folder, and re-add it, it gets the info
a refresh all metadata doesn’t add anything.
I’ve tried disabling “Find trailers and extras automatically”, refresh all, re-enabling, and another refresh all
that didn’t do much, the new movies that had trailers, lost them, and then got them back.
The ones that never had trailers, never got them.
I’ve been using Plex forever (lifetime Plex pass since Dec '13)
I’m not sure how old this library is. I’ve updated servers a few times, moving the plex folders along as I go. So it’s quite possible something is just wonky in the database from a long time ago.
I am comfortable in Sqlite, and have looked through, but can’t seem to find where (or if) that info is stored in “com.plexapp.plugins.library.db” I’ve also looked though the various folders, but nothing really jumped out at me.
I’d prefer not to nuke the library and start over, since it’s just to get trailers. but if there’s something not too destructive I’m willing to try.
Sever is Version 1.19.3.2740 - 64bit ubuntu.
