Okay so I’ve got this one fan edit of alien Resurrection that I’ve watched all the way through. It keeps showing up in Keep Watching as unfinished. I’ve tried marking it watched repeatedly, I’ve tried marking it unwatched, I’ve tried dragging the slider to the end and letting it finish playing, nothing’s working.
Verify that the same movie is not in Paused mode on other Plex clients of yours.
Usual contenders are rarely used STB or dongles like Roku, Fire TV and the like.
Another type that’s often forgotten are old browser tabs with the Plex web app in them. If you find any, make absolutely sure that they don’t have a player bar at the bottom, because this means that the playback session is still active. Always use the Stop ■ button to close the player fully.

Okay the dashboard didn’t show anything playing but I power cycled all of my streaming devices and that seems to have done it
