Movies and Shows on Plex not loading

Movies and Shows on Plex is not loading currently for me in version 4.90.1 of the web player in Google Chrome.
I get the message “Something went wrong”.

The Chrome Developer Tools show that it appears to be getting a 403 response with this message:

‘username’ is NOT permitted to access restricted endpoint ‘/hubs/sections/movies’ on ‘Plex Web/Chrome’: Feature not permitted! Missing feature(s): vod

Online Media Sources are enabled for all users.This also doesn’t appear to be an issue in the mobile apps, logging on as the same user.

Have you tried to force-reload the “website”?
Or clear the browser cache?

Check if you have any browser add-ins activated which could interfere with data traffic and DRM.

I tried a hard refresh and that didn’t work and, although none of the extensions I had enabled should affect network traffic, I tried disabling them all but got the same.

However, I just tried logging out and back in to the web player and it now seems to be working so it may have been a cookie issue.
