Hi there, I’m using Plex on my PC and Android phone. I cast my movies to my TV using Chromecast via Plex.
For some reason, Plex has listed a heap of the movies I have on my PC in the Photos directory on the Plex Media Server. This isn’t a major problem, however my problem is when I go to cast a movie to the TV using my phone (via the Plex App) the movie is listed as a photo and although it starts playing correctly on the TV, if I click off of that screen on my phone in anyway (lock screen, home screen, back button, switch apps etc) the movie stops playing.
This issue doesn’t happen for any movie I play that is correctly listed in the movies directory. It only happens to the movies that Plex has listed in the Photos directory.
I want to load a movie and not have to keep my phone on that same photo image screen for the movie to continue playing.
Any suggestions? Can I get the movies that are in the photos directory to be listed only in the movies directory? It seems to be a random list of movies that Plex is listing as photos. Most are .mp4 files but a few are .mkv
Any help would be appreciated.
