Movies has advanced filter for critic rating but TV doesn’t…
This means you cannot use the same formatted smart collections.
I have one for movies that is randomly generated to show the 15 top critic rated films but in a random order.
I cannot work out how to do the same for TV as the advanced filters are different.
TLDR : You can create a smart collection with a Advanced Filter of your choice + Sort by “Audience Rating”. Critic Rating Meta Data doesn’t populate for my TV shows and in turn the Sort by Critic Rating is unreliable.
I think this is because TV shows aren’t critiqued by critics with the same consistency compared to movies. I don’t know where the meta data for a critic rating on a tv show would be pulled from but if plex pulls this from something like tvdb or another service I doubt that critic rating would have the same level of “coverage” for tv shows when compared to movies. The option to sort my TV shows by “Critic Rating” is there for my tv shows on plex but it doesn’t actually change the sort of my TV shows. Instead If I do a Sort by Audience Rating then create a Smart collection with that sort and a random Advanced Filter it achieves the same result your looking for depending on which Advanced Filter you go with.
Here’s an example of the top 15 audience rated tv shows that have episodes unplayed:
