Movies incorrectly being merged

IDK if this is a problem with the latest DSM 7 install, but I redid my NAS after replacing the drives and I’m having issues with two movies so far, Kill Bill & Hunger Games Mockingjay. Each of them is is two parts in two separate movies correctly named:

Kill Bill Vol. 1 (2003).mkv
Kill Bill Vol. 2 (2004).mkv
The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014).mkv
The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015).mkv

What Plex is doing is for them is tagging the second ones as another version of the first one and I can’t find a way to split them. Any ideas? I’ve never seen this happen before…

The option to split should be in the context menu of the respective items (⋮ > Split Apart)

Do you have each of those movies in their own folder? e.g.

Movies  <- the folder linked to your movie library
  The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014)
    The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014).mkv
  The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015)
    The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015).mkv

If you’re having issues despite organizing your files like this you can try to include an external reference to the movie’s folder (or the file itself), e.g.

Movies  <- the folder linked to your movie library
  The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014) {imdb-tt1951265}
    The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014).mkv
  The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015) {tmdb-131634}
    The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015).mkv

Thanks for the menu info, I was just now able to fix Hunger Games. I split it and then fixed the match for the the second one and now it shows up correctly. I don’t use folders and never had to in the past, it’s only happened this time on a clean install of DSM 7 Plex v 1.24.1.4931
