I’m having the exact issue explained here:
This is true for any Movie library (I have multiple). All TV Show libraries work fine. I’ve checked my logs with debugging enabled and I don’t see any entries with Corrupt. Log #2 was from my systems daily restart, you can see the timestamp of 5AM, and even that does not show any corrupt entries.
Movies don’t show in On Deck.
Plex decided for us that 3 Continue Watching Slots - also used by TV Shows in a redundant fashion ('cause they’re also listed in On Deck right frickin under Continue Watching) - completely obliterating any benefit Continue Watching may have provided for the media Plex Hates - Movies.
We’ve brought this up until we’re blue in the face - but Plex is certain they’re right.
The ‘dream’ of perfection enjoyed by developers that don’t even use Plex basically means we are victimized by their decisions. Movies are to be watched from start to about 5 minutes before it’s over when Plex has decided that’s enough. Move on to the next Movie, get it over with and get back to TV Shows.
That’s insane. I disabled Continue Watching for the fact that On Deck was redundant. Apparently I never noticed that Movies weren’t listed there until recently… I’ll leave this post here anyway for the devs to see.
