Hello. I would like to ask something about On Deck. On Plex Web and Apple Tv app wich I mostly use, the On Deck on Home screen isn’t populated with movies or series. It has two episodes that I saw nearly 1 year ago. I can only see my hlf seen movies or series only if I navigate to the correspond categorie. Is this right?
Maybe you are using a different (maybe ‘managed’) user account on these two clients?
On Deck only retains half-watched up to a certain ‘age’.
No I am using always my master user. I know that On Deck retains half-watched movies to a cartain age, but my On Deck doesn’t show nothing.I have half-watched movies 1 or 2 days old and I can continue watching only if I go to the movies section. I have tryied Plex web interface on different browsers and pc’s but still nothing. Is there something I can do?
If you edit the library, where the half-watched item is coming from, go to the ‘Advanced’ tab.
Verify the ‘Include in dashboard’ checkbox is filled.
Further thing to check:
- enable debug logging on the server
- restart the server
- wait 5 minutes,
- inspect the first 200 lines of the
Plex Media Server.logfor any occurences of ‘slow query’ or ‘database corrupt’
