Movies not starting unless a reboot on shield with Plex app, watching off Synology NAS after last tw

I noticed this with the last two Synology Plex app updates, where on my Shield, I click on any movies on my NAS library and it just spins and spins until I do a reboot of the Shield player. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

I still have to reboot my Nvidia Shield to watch a movie thru plex which is on my NAS. Once I reboot, all work fine, but this started about two updates ago, which I manually did on my NAS by downloading directly from Plex. I have uninstalled the player Plex app on my shield and re-installed, but still no luck. What else can I do?

I’m having the same issue too. Of course, since I rebooted my Shield I haven’t had the issue occur on the last 4 or 5 videos played, so no recent Shield logs.

After reading about some other similar issues, I’ve disabled autoswitch resolution in the Plex app on my Shield and everything plays fine now.

I only have a 1080p TV and all my content is in 1080p.
