Movies & TV on Plex: Only "Channels" appears

When I select “Movies & TV on Plex”, I only see “Channels” with the error message, “There are no items in Channels”.

I accidentally clicked “Channels” but now can’t seem to undo this. How do I get out of “Channels” so I can see Plex Movies and TV again?

What Plex client are we talking about?
Is this in Plex Web (via your browser) or a dedicated Plex app (which app, which version)?

I’ve uploaded an image showing the problem.

I’m running Plex Media Server, 1.19.2.2737-b69929dab on a ReadyNAS 516, Linux ReadyNAS OS 6.10.3.

I am viewing Plex Web on a WIN10 PC (Microsoft Edge Chromium).

I have a Lifetime Plex Pass.

The problem is that I cannot get out of “Channels” … nothing to click to close this section and return to “Movies & TV on Plex”. I seem to be stuck here.

What’s the URL you have for this?
Any restrictions that could apply for your setup (e.g. regarding geo-location, content-blockers in your browser, disabled DRM…)?

On my end… this is the URL Plex is using to display the Movies & TV section:

No restrictions to my setup. This was working perfectly ok yesterday until the error appeared.

That’s weird … when I click on your URL for “Movies & TV”, I am back to seeing the movies provided by PLEX. This is normal.

However, when I click on the “Movies & TV on Plex” icons at the top or on the menu bar at the left, I am right back to viewing “Channels”.
I seems that the URL is corrupted somehow.

How can this be corrected so that the URL doesn’t direct you to “Channels”?

Do you get the same result after unchecking Remember selected tab from the Plex Web general settings?

The nuke approach might be to Reset Customizations (advanced setting in the same section) – this will however reset all customizations for Plex Web).

When is it advisable to check this tab then?
