Hi. I created a library today. Holiday movies. I moved it into place easily on the laptop but can’t see it at all on my sony smart TV. I used to find them under MORE, unpin and moved them into place. Help.
so… was the new library displayed under More >, ready to be pinned and reordered?
No. I can’t see it at all on the TV. If I try a search for one of the shows in that folder that can’t be located either. It’s as if it doesn’t exist of the TV.
Silly questions first:
- can you see the other libraries of your server on the TV?
- what Plex client are you using on the TV, is this an app installed e.g. from the Google Play store on an Android TV or the native smart tv app of Plex (e.g. on LG, Samsung…)?
Yes. I can see all the other libraries. I haven’t created a new library until today and my TV is new. The Sony has a App section and I just chose Plex from that.
IS the TV logged in as the same account as the Web-Client?
How do I see the W-C on the TV?
Ok. All of a sudden it has appeared in the list. Wish I knew why so I could repeat for next time. Thanks for your replies.

If you experience something like this you can usually resolve it by force-quitting the Plex client and restart it – worst case a reboot of the smart tv should achieve the same (an actual reboot, not only reactivating it from standby).
