Moving Plex DSM package to container certificate issue Help

Server Version#: DS218+
Player Version#: DSM 7.2.1.69057

I have a synology DS218+ NAS, running on DSM 7.2.1. Currently my plex server is running well enough as a DSM package, but I have decided to move the instance over to docker container, I have found that it seems to hum just that much better.

My DSM instance is easily making use of a custom domain certificate and I can access the server externally with “custom.domain:32400”. As soon as I move over to the container and utilise the same certificate access in Plex-network settings with the domain name I get the plex dot direct certificate issue, cannot access through https. I have followed the posts where -certpbe AES-256-CBC -keypbe AES-256-CBC -macalg SHA256 is added to the openssl export. to kick this off I export from synology to get the *.pem files and go from there, but does not seem to be working still, assuming I can use these pem files? I am confused because as soon as I stop the container and go back to the DSM package version of plex, domain is back and I can access externally. I hope someone can assist me and I am making sense. Thanks.
