Moving Plex local application data to another drive - Plex Update service creates another folder in old drive

I want to move the Plex local application data to another drive (from E: to F:) and change the following two settings in plex settings:

Settings —> General - The path where local application data is stored

Setting —> Schedule tasks --> Backup directory

I also stopped the plex update service in “services” and copy over all the plex local application data to the new drive and restarted all services and plex.

The problem i have is that as soon as the plex update service (from the service menu in win 10) starts up, it creates another local application data with the same name as the previous folder (that i moved to the new drive).

How can i stop the plex update service to create the new folder on my old drive and use the folder i moved to the new drive?
