I moved my media and log folders to a network directory several months ago, since I was continually running out of space in my C drive. Everything works exactly as it should, except that the update from a browser seems to not work.
Looking at the Plex Update Service Launcher log, I see the follow. Unfortunately nothing very descriptive.
I tried to manually run C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex Update Service Launcher.exe from the command line and nothing happens and no error message is printed.
I can manually do an update by clicking the update .exe file and everything works smoothly. Again, no other problems with my Plex system except this. Any thoughts?

The I:\ drive is my Plex server data directory. All of the executables are still in the original location C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\
Thanks for your response on the addendum. So everything in the registry checks out.
So as I was doing that, I noticed that the Plex Update Service was not running, and when I tried to start it, it failed. So I think I may have found the source of the problem, but I couldn’t figure out why the update service is failing. Any thoughts?
