Moving Plex Media Server onto a larger replacement NAS Drive

Server Version#:1.18.5.2260

I have a QNAP NAS that has the Plex Media Server running on it as well as media. The HDD is getting full and I want to purchase one with a larger capacity and replace the drive that hosts the Plex Media Server.

I know how to change the drive and can install a new version of PMS on it. However, I would like to keep the PMS data (what media is played/unplaced, tags, matches etc) that is currently on my HDD.

Is this simply a matter of copying the files from the existing PMS to the new one and overwriting any files that have been made with the new install? Is their a function within PMS that migrates it to another HDD?

Any help on how to put my existing PMS and it’s data onto a new HDD would be appreciated.

This, if you on the new drive use the same path for your medias

Thanks Dane. Thought it might be but wasn’t sure. The media will remain in the same directories.
