moving plex server from windows to synology DS1520+
will have 4 12tb WD red (raid5) and 1- 10TB…future will hold an expansion
along with 2 1tb, M.2 2280 NVMe SSD
i don’t mind re-indexing the libraries…however I have 4 users that share my server how can I keep those configurations; is there a file I can copy over or do I have to re-invite them all??
If you create a new server on your NAS, you’ll need to manually re-establish the sharing. Those users will still be listed (no need to re-invite them) but all sharing will still refer to your current server (same goes for your watch history).
If you cannot do an actual migration, you can still maintain some of the view states and ratings by following the procedure explained in this support article:
