I did a clean install of macOS Monterey yesterday following accurately your tutorials (backup of Media folder and the plist). I did not lose my movies which were on external HDD but it created a new Plex server and I had to reorganize all my genre list. Can’t you implement an export/import feature for a Plex Server with all the necessary files (not movies of course) ? All great softwares have that functionality. I am a life time enthusiastic and supportive customer. Please do something!
