Moving PMS from Windows to Ubuntu 18

Hi, I’m attempting to move my PMS from Windows 10 to Ubuntu 18. All the data is on an external drive. The reason is that the linux box has better resources(ssd CPU & RAM)
what I attempted to do was copy my TV shows over, with both servers up and running.
However, the disk I was copying to had an error, so I shutdown the Win 10 box and attached the disk to the linux box, no errors were seen and the disk is available. Next I added a new library and removed the old library. I thought having the library scanning set to automatic would be wise, yet after nearly 18 hours the Ubuntu box (disk) is still being scanned & load is rather high, so I turned that off in the GUI. Initially I had the log level set to Debug, but since have turned this off. No error messages in the ‘system’ logs have been seen. The plex logs show curl_easy_perform errors, “no route to host” & this: “ERROR - SSDP: Error parsing device schema” I’m wondering if restarting the services will help or how to proceed. BTW the web player works, but attempting to see any shows via Dish results in failure. The DLNA server is seen but no shows can be seen.

Happy to upload plex & database logs.
Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488
Player Version#: 1.14.1.5488
