Moving the metadata location on a iMac PMS

So, I am having some trouble with my brand new mac mini 2018. Not that the machine is giving me trouble, but rather the diskspace is.

I bought the mac mini 2018 i3 with the 128 GB internal SSD, and it is working perfect, but little did I know that the PMS creates a mega big metadata file on the internal SSD.

Long story short, I will run out of space pretty quickly…`

I have turned of 'creating ‘video miniatures’ and ‘chapter pictures’ to save space, but the data base grows every day…

Anyway, is there a possibility to move the database to an external drive?

And if so, how do I do that (pref. in steps as i’m really kind of a nono with that…)

I hope it is possible, and if someone can help me guid me through it…
