I am in the process of moving my libraries from a MyCloudPR2100 to a Synology DS423+. Half way of moving the Movies library and everything is working great. I do not have credits detection enabled.

Is there a way to move the TV Shows library without rescanning every episode for Intro markers? Other attempts at moving the TV library to another directory in the same NAS triggered Intro detection again.

All my TV episodes - at least, all where intro was detected - have intro markers and I’d rather avoid triggering intro detection for the whole library.

In short, no. Once plex picks up a folder location change for TV series then intro gets registered as needing to be done again.

I’ve posted about this a couple of times before. Was hoping there was a way around.

There might be by doing some direct database edits but I never bothered exploring.

Skip Intro is actually something we loved when it came out but over time we as a family decided to disable, just became a annoyance :slight_smile:
