MP4 audio files suddenly will not play

Player Version#: Amazon Firestick (is that what you are looking for?)

Several months ago I uploaded some mp4 audio files from a few medical summits that I attended and bought. They worked just fine. Now when I have gone back to listen on the Firestick, I get the following error message.

! Error
An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.

When I open Plex on my desktop and click to play the audio, it plays fine. So it must be an Firestick issue.

Can someone provide some input as to what could be wrong now? It must have occurred from one of the server updates that we have to download and install all too often these days. IDK

Can you please do the following?

  1. Settings - Server - General - Show Advanced
  2. make certain DEBUG logging on & VERBOSE logging off (SAVE if changed)
  3. Now recreate the error please
  4. Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs

What I see is Android starting to play then aborting from the player side.

Have you tried playing the MP4 files in the browser ?

Yes, the files will play in the browser. They will not play in the Android app, Firestick. But they used to play in the Android app. So I am wondering why do they not play now?
