Multi plex servers but redirects to "preferred" server

I have 2 plex servers.

Qnap Nas on version 1.9.3
Windows on 1.19.3.2852

in the older versions, i would be able to just point my browser to that server’s plex site and be able to browse locally and manage it individually. with the latest past couple of versions, this ability has been removed. now it forces/redirects me the “preferred server” and i have to dive through the menus to get to the server i need to manage/view.

Is there a way to remove/disable this “preferred server” redirection? I want to just directly manage these servers if i can.

thanks

You can still navigate and access your servers locally.
The change you have in mind is Plex has added an option to harmonize the navigation and customization of your libraries across all clients of the same type. This results in the same libraries showing as “pinned” in the main navigation of Plex Web.

There’s a number of ways how to deal with that…

  1. If you want to see those other libraries and don’t like the need to click on More, you could simply Pin them as well to the main navigation – there’s no restriction to show just one server’s content at a time.
  2. If you want to keep accessing your servers locally and each have their own navigation… open the Plex Web Settings (Settings > Plex Web) and click on Turn off settings sync in the General section.
Keep in mind this will only disable the settings sync for Plex Web – other clients have their own navigation/customization.

Thanks tom80H! #2 works perfectly for me.

I was doing #1 without pinning it for a while.
