This is an Apple TV 2021 4k but recently I started seeing multiple copies of “Watchlist” and “Discover” appearing in the sidebar. These are all broken with a yellow triangle exclamation mark. I have been removing them but they keep coming back.
Yesterday I removed them all manually and by the today there were 16 of each again (and counting). This appears to be similar to the problem described in this topic:
I only have the one server and nothing has changed recently that I am aware of, unless the Plex app on Apple TV updated. This problem has happened in the past but not to this extent. Usually I just remove the broken “Watchlist” and “Discover” and they go away.
These do not appear in the desktop apps or iOS app or Android app I use.
What can I do to prevent these from constantly appearing?
I would also try restoring defaults to manually re-choose the side bar items you want rather than removing each of those manually. You can do so by long pressing on the Home item in sidebar
Logs are attached. I looked through them but didn’t find anything that meant anything to me. I did the restore to defaults and the errors are gone for now, will report back whether they are gone for good or start coming back again. Thanks!
Well, I did restore to defaults and a day later I haven’t seen any new errors popping up so that seems to have corrected it. Any information from the logs as to what caused it in the first place.

The broken watchlists still come back periodically and I still have to reset everything, which is annoying.
Bump. I’ve had this issue on and off for the past year at least. Happens to me on multiple Apple TVs, multiple users without a clear causation. I host Plex via a Synology NAS/DSM.
