Server is running on a Mac (Version 1.20.3.3483-211702a9f). I had issues with direct play and disabled the feature so that everything is now transcoding. This has helped make these errors less frequent but they’re still popping up quite often. Issues occur locally on the web client and Roku TV. My personal inkling is that there’s an issue transcoding specific media types, namely 10bit x265 encodes. Most other files seam to play flawlessly. I pulled logs and tried looking at them but I don’t know what I’m looking for at this point. I’m pulling out my hair at this point. Any direction or help is greatly appreciated. Unsurprisingly, it’s continuing to happen. At this time I can’t confidently say it’s due to the media type, as this happened with a .m4v file. In any event, I was more diligent at watching when the errors occurred last night and took timestamps. Again, I’m not sure which log specifically to look at, but I did find some promising mention in the Plex Media Server.5.log file. Playback stopped on my end on 11/24 at 19:58, 20:24, 20:32 (and so on). Would appreciate any insight or direction into troubleshooting. Thanks!(File removed)
For files where I’ve gotten this error, audio is AAC.
I currently have that option disabled. Are you recommending I should enable it?
