Hey all, this is my first post! I’m a new Plex user, setting up my system. Is it possible to have multiple separate entries in Edition tab? So far I think not? If I want it to say Criterion and Director’s Cut as two separate Editions. Is this possible, or will it just always link the two words together?

Thank you for the link! I did see that article, it doesn’t really answer my question though. It looks like I can enter just one category under Edition. Let’s say “Director’s Cut.” If I also wanted the same title to say Criterion as well as Director’s Cut, those are not two separate entries, the way entering two writers would be, or two genres. The category would say “Criterion Director’s Cut.” If I’m understanding it correctly, there is no way to separate those two into two different categories within Editions.
And it’s too bad we can’t have two different 4K versions under the same title. Maybe this will become possible in the future.
Ah, my apologies, I’d misunderstood your intent. Sorry I can’t be of any help, I don’t think that’s possible, as you’ve discovered.
A movie can only be one edition.
Either combine them into one, or misuse the Genre tag for the second one, if it’s that important to you.
