Multiple HDHomerun 4 tuner boxes not working

Server Version#: Version 1.30.0.6486
Player Version#: multiple…
Tuner Make/Model: hdhomerun quadro hd/ hdhomerun flex 4k
Guide/Lineup name: plex
Using XMLTV?: no
Channel number/Name: various

Originally Quadro hd was installed alone.

All 4 tuners work,

atsc 3 coming to my area purchased a flex 4k (4 tuner box), added fine, didn’t think much of it.

new years wanted to record the new years parties… and i was unable to watch from the flex 4k.

Filled up 4 tuners in the quadro and the 5th channel would not tune, error out. Opened up windows server and pinged both tuners with no issue, opened streams from VLC with no issue.

Erased both tuners this morning, added flex 4k first, now i can fill all 4 flex tuners, but the 5th channel states all my tuners are in use.

Also, using the flex box doesn’t make sense.. because i am tuned to a channel it did not discover…

The channel listing per tuner held over to before the re-adding

I have an HDHR 4k box, but I’m in an area without ATSC3.0 currently. I’m pretty sure these tuners only allow you to have up to 4 total channels tuned at a time, two of which must be ASTC1.0 (only two of the 4 tuners support ATSC 3.0). You might want to confirm this over on the silicondust forums.

i did confirm that atsc 3.0 is backwards compatible to 1.0 so that wasn’t the issue.

HOWEVER, i did get it working…

after fooling a ton more… I deleted both tuners… then did a database cleanup… restarted my server… did another data cleanup… added 1 tuner at a time… first the quatro… built the schedule… then added the flex 4k with the add device, not the “add another” on the tail end of the first one… and i knew something was different because the guide channels populated the second tuner… they didn’t do that the previous times… and when the guide updated again… now i get all 8 tuners at once. we will see if it continues to work. Thank you for your input though
