Multiple last.fm scrobbles when playing synced/downloaded music

Every time I play a song that has been synced/downloaded to my iPhone Plex app it gets scrobbled multiple times to Last.fm. One play equals 10+ scrobbles.

This only happens when playing synced music and not when I stream it directly from the Plex Server.
