Multiple Movie Files Not Showing Multiple Icon

in the past i would see a multiple files icon in the upper left corner of the poster if plex combined movie files, but that doesn’t seem to be working now.

for example i have two movie files of the same movie, only one poster is displayed, and no icon appears top left, but if i select settings from the poster i’m given an option of selection which of the two versions i want to play?

this also messes with my total movie count, i.e. when plex combines movie files under one poster plex counts it as one moviie.

so how do i now separate these two movies that have apparently been combined by plex?

Of course. After all, it is the same movie. So it should not increase the movie count if you have two versions of the same movie.

If you need an overview of which items have several files, there is the new “Duplicates” filter.

thanks… it would be great if there was a global option, or category option even, to set this - i.e. “do not merge same files” or “merge same files”, along with the current option of being able to do it per file.
