Multiple Playback Issues in Web Browser and Windows App

Yeah, this support is pretty rough considering I paid $120 for a Plex Pass. No chat support, no email support… But anyways, I’ve been having trouble with playback of Plex for (at least) the last 6 months at least and it’s finally driving me so insane that I’m pretty much demanding help from the Plex Staff. I’m trying to just view my content on my Plex server from Windows, via the Plex Web App via Firefox and also the Plex Windows App. Oh, I should also mention I Googled and Googled and Googled and could not solve these issues myself. Hence, posting here.

The issue with the Plex Web App is that it constantly has issues with super slow framerates during playback. The video jumps a lot, showing maybe 5 frames per second. The audio is completely fine. If need be I can post a video of it for you all to see. The only way I can solve this issue is either refreshing the page or closing the tab and opening a new tab and opening Plex again and selecting the content I want to watch, etc… Sometimes, that doesn’t even work until I refresh the page 7 or 8 times. You can see how this would be insanely frustrating. This is not just an issue with Firefox, as I used to use Google Chrome and had the same exact problem.

The next issue is with the Plex Windows App. No audio. That’s it. That’s the only problem. And yes, I’ve checked every Windows setting possible and that is NOT the issue. When I follow the advice posted here the audio in the Plex app starts working but then every other application on my computer is silenced, which is obviously not tolerable.

Honestly, I’m too lazy to look up the server version and player version because that doesn’t matter. Like I said, I’ve been having this issue well over 6 months, and many new versions of the players and server have come out and they always have these same issues.
