Multiple rasplex on one network.

Is there a way to change the way a raspberry pii shows up on the network. Right now I have two piis on my home network and the show up named the same thing how do I change the name.

Go into Preferences and name each Pi with a different unique name.

That does not fix the problem. With out syncing then to your account devices page that shows the names of your attached devices. 1 only show on pii

The only page that matters is when you go to the devices list you can change the name of your server but not attached devices.

What!!

OK, on Rasplex, select Preferences, Services, Device Name, press select/enter, delete the existing name and give it whatever name you like.

You can also change the name in System Settings.

I will post a picture

I think those two name strings have different purposes.

The one in the "System Settings" menu is the OpenELEC 'computer name' as used in standard network protocols.
The one in the normal PHT/RasPlex "Preferences" menu is the Plex client identifier, as used at myPlex.
To simplify things I've set both entries to the same string value on my RPi.

You’re right I kept changing the network name settings not the device name.
