sorry, new Plex user here and I didn’t dig too much into the documentation.
My idea was, when I go holiday, to export a selection of movies to an external hard drive.
Ideally I’d like Plex go give me export options (or sync ones if size is not a concern) so that I could move a selection of movie with me for offline viewing.

When you have a Plex Pass, it will give you precisely that which you now ask for.
Not to an external HDD.
You can ‘mobile sync’ media to Android mobile and iOS devices.
