Same here with a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR935. Only the DVB-T tunder shows up, the DVB-C doesn’t.
I get the same thing with DVBSky T330 only sees it as DVB-T2

It sees all the tuners fine from the log

We have a bug right now, which combines tuners a little too aggressively. PMS is combining them into a single tuner, which ignores the antenna portion, so users can only use it for Cable. We have an internal issue filed to address this.
Same thing happens for the TechnoTrend TT-TVStick CT2-4400. It’s a BDA-compatible multi tuner for DVB-T/T2/C, but only the terrestrial/antenna tuner is listed during setup in PMS.
I’ve tried again on a different server but the end result is still the same.
According to the log, both the cable and terrestrial tuners of the TT-TVStick CT4400 are correctly identified. However, in the UI only the DVB-T/T2 tuner is surfaced.
When I try to run a channel scan, I only get a greyed-out button and can’t progress any further.
So is this bug still present in the latest build which kinoCharlino mentioned above?
yes, bug is still there.
If I have 2 separate tuners, ie a DVB-T and also a DBB-S tuner, can I select 2 completely different channel list EPG’s for them?
Currently when I set up my HDHomerun I select the local region for Ireland and get Saorview which is correct. However when I then add my satellite tuner, I can only use the terrestrial channel list.
Is there a way to assign different channel EPG guides to separate tuners?
Is there a way to manually override the automatic tuner selection as a temporary fix for this bug?

Currently not from what I know. Each instance of PMS can only have one location+epg provider assigned. If you want to mix, you would have to set up a second instance (e.g. in a docker container or VM) and thus create a second dvr.
I have the same issue with IPTV and DVB-C in a mix at home here. I run second installation in a VM which I start if I want to record my IPTV setup. This VM shares folders with my main Plex, so in the end the recording end up in the right place and I do not have to rely on the VM to be running.
But, that said - @kinoCharlino is there maybe some http-post json endpoint to smuggle in a second DVR instance in on PMS?
Cheers
Alex
@kinoCharlino would love to know if there is anything in the pipeline for this?

@kinoCharlino or can I manually edit the settings file so that the the cable and not the terrestrial tuner is listed and hence presented in the GUI?
… and Hungary in the country selection list is still missing…

I’m curious what’s different about the officially supported DVBLogic TVButler 100TC. That device also combines multiple tuners for cable and antenna signals on a single chip. Why doesn’t this bug also affect this device as well? Should the Plex server also combine them into a single tuner?
@kinoCharlino any progress on this bug?

The issue was triaged as DVR stability and recording failure issues took priority. The ticket has been looked at more recently, but I don’t have an ETA for the investigation.
Same issue when using DVBViewer recording service as SAT IP server with an Digitaldevices Octopus card having 8 tuners (6 Sat and 2 Cable). Only one cable tuner is visible (where Plex cannot find channels). If I erase all devices in DVBViewer except one Sat tuner plex is able to find Sat and also able to find channels.
My Blackgold BGT3620 is now at least detected in PMS, but only as a single Cable tuner, so I get no scan results for the 2x DVB-T2 tuners. I was rather excited when it informed me it had finally detected the tuner.
Has there been any further development on this issue? I have a PCTV 291e/461e BDA 28179 TVTuner which is identified as two devices:
PCTV 291e/461e BDA 28179 TVTuner C
PCTV 291e/461e BDA 28179 TVTuner
but only the C device appears in Plex, so I am only shown the option to scan Cable when I need DVB-T2.
Dec 2019 and bug still present…
Blackgold with 2x DVB-S2 and 2x DVB-T2 (combined with DVB-C). I only see the DVB-S2 and a DVB-C
Please fix it as I just purchased the Plex Pass entirely for this purpose - I currently used MediaPortal but want to switch to Roku devices.
