Plex is identifying too many tuners and so most of my recordings are failing

I am having an issue with my BlackGold BGT 3600 PCI-e tuner card. This card has 2no DVB-T/C tuners and 2no DVB-S tuners. Windows identifies the card as two devices, so I have only configured the DVB-T/C device in Plex.

However, Plex identifies this as having 4 tuners. I have been able to setup the device and do a channel scan, connected to a standard antenna and it has identified the correct DVB-T channels.

I can schedule 4 recordings at the same time, but only 2 are successful and the other 2 fail. This is understandable as the card only has 2no DVB-T tuners, so I am assuming therefore Plex is incorrectly identifying the DVB-C element as 2 additional tuners, that don’t work.

The problem is Plex is always defaulting to using one of tuners that is not functioning first, so most of my scheduled recordings are failing. In addition, live-tv only works if I first set a recording on another channel to lock out the tuner that is not functioning.

Has anyone else had this problem and found a way around it?
