If it ain’t broke, let’s just break it anyway, I guess.
Had zero issues with the old interface. So far, the problems/downgrades I see:

It seems like Apple TV no longer natively integrates with Plex. When I highlight Plex in the Apple TV app list, I now just see the Plex logo. No history or tracking of what shows I’ve recently watched or what’s next.

The ability to offset audio and subtitles is either gone or hidden

Maybe I need to get used to it, but navigation is a pain now when trying to connect to a friend’s server and get to Continue Watching. Way more clicks required, jumping through hoops now.
4. This is a big one for me. One of my libraries is organized with a folder structure. The folder view interface is now like the Android app which is terrible. Some of my movies/tv titles are harder to identify as they are no longer visible in an easy to read top- down list. The directory listing now has ugly square shaped folder icons and sometimes the the full title names aren’t always fully visible/get cut off unless you click on them..
Example, the movie Title "The Bridge over the River Kwai " was displayed correctly and in full while browsing before the app change.. But now it reads “The bridge ove…” with a folder icon right above it.
This is terrible.
