Is it possible for both my partner and I to use the DVR functionality? At the moment I am the owner of the server and seem to be the only person allowed to schedule a recording. My partner is a user and can watch live TV and playback recordings but not schedule anything despite also having a plex pass.
You can grant access to the DVR only to members of your own Plex Home.
It is possible to invite full Plex accounts into a Plex Home, however when they accept the invitation their own Plex Home is destroyed and their managed users are deleted.
The current situation is that I have invited my partner’s account in to plex home. They can watch live TV but they still don’t have the ability to schedule recordings. They have to ask me to do it from my account. I can’t see any option in the home users page to give them the authority to record TV.
