Hello friends!
I have a decent problem with Plex which I can’t solve myself (the first time in my life so far! ;-))
I have a German TV series (“Berlin, Berlin”) that my otherwise beloved Plex just can’t handle.
I work with unique naming conventions in the following style:
/Media/Movies/…
/Media/Series/Berlin_Berlin/Season1/S01E01.mkv
/Media/Series/Berlin_Berlin/Season1/S01E02.mkv (and so on)
This works well for almost all other TV series - only this one series brings me to the edge of madness… ![]()
One thing: the series is not known to any media agent (that’s probably the cause of the problem - but I have it with other German series, too, and the problem doesn’t occur there like that).
I let Plex index everything, that looks good so far. It even recognizes the intros, creates thumbs, all chic.
When I try to start an episode, it gives me a video of a completely different series (which is also on my Plex! ![]()
Looking in the media info for a particular episode I see that Plex has identified a total of 3 video files for this series!
The other two video files have the same nomenclature (SxxEyy), but with a different extension (they are *.ts - files).
I can basically fix it by clicking “play version” on each episode - but somehow that’s annoying.
Actually, I just want to delete the association of each of the other two video files - but I can’t do that. I see them in the file info - but the data is greyed out, I can not change anything there.
Do you have any idea what this could be - and especially how to fix it? That would be really SUPERB! ![]()
Thanks for your help and best regards
Jens.
