Problems with 2 similiar sounding TV Shows and the way Plex handles it

I got a big problem with 2 TV Shows, that are in a way very similiar, also the names. But its still 2 different ones.

The Bionic Woman (1976)

Bionic Woman (2007)

The first is the original, the second is the re-invention they tried in 2007 but only remained for one seasons.

I did all the correct naming, also technically Plex understands that each of the Shows is its separate thing. But it either shows one or the other.

The Series Folders are “The Bionic Woman (1976)” and “Bionic Woman (2007)”, but I also already tried without the year numbers.

It only always shows one Show in the list, but then in the first season (because the newer Show version had only 1 Season and the older had 3 Seasons) it always shows that double file symbol at the episodes, meaning that it somehow takes both Season 1 episodes to each other.

How can I differentiate the whole thing ? Its a pain in the ass. You’d think that getting the Meta Data (which it clearly does) from the Internet, would be enough for Plex to know that its two different series. But it doesnt.

Any ideas how to fix that ?

On the TV series poster bottom right you will find a vertical ellipsis ( ⋮ ), scroll to Fix Match, Search options, The Movie Database and search.

But first make sure you have your agents configured correct.

Fixed it already. Removed the whole folder from the Harddisk where those files were, had Plex run another scan through all the TV Shows. Then cleaned the trash in that library, and restarted the Plex Server. After I copied the Folder of that show back and did start another scan in TV Shows, and then it handled it as 2 separate shows.

But thanks for your help as well.
