Every time one of my remote users plays a movie on a windows web page, 3 or 4 streams of the same movie play? Any ideas?
What do you mean by “3 or 4 streams of the same movie play”?
Are you seeing the user’s single stream as multiple records in the now-playing dashboard of your server (or Plex Dash) or do they get multiple streams in parallel?
Thanks for the reply. They have 3 or four streams of the same movie playing at the same time, but they say (and I believe them) that they only have one instance of the movie running. They are using a Windows computer connected directly to their TV and a chrome web page. They have tried clearing cache/history etc, but every time they play a movie, 3 or 4 instances of the same movie appear. They have an older Windows computer and can not run the Plex app. Any ideas?
That sounds rather crazy ![]()
Any way they can share a screenshot of that multi-instance video?
Thanks for the reply. I see it on my end in Plex Dash. I will have to wait until it happens again.
