Plex for iOS randomly doesn’t show the names of the music, these music that don’t show the name in iOS are displayed normally on the Mac. I have been asking Plex for help for over ten days, but they have been avoiding, I can only ask you all helped. Thanks

can you provide ones of your track files

Use any music album (flac format), wait for Plex to update the metadata, then both iOS and Mac can display the music name normally.
Then delete one of the music, iOS shows the music name is empty, but Mac can display the music name normally. This should be a bug of iOS.

@BigWheel test file link

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Use any music album (flac format), wait for Plex to update the metadata, then both iOS and Mac can display the music name normally.

  2. Then delete one of the music, iOS shows the music name is empty, but Mac can display the music name normally. This should be a bug of iOS.

Are you deleting them in the app, or deleting them from the filesystem on computer and rescanning?

deleting them from the filesystem on computer.
The crux of the problem is that after deleting the music files in the NAS, the mac displays the music name normally, only iOS displays the music name as empty, so I believe this is a bug of iOS.

Excuse me, is there any progress?

I’m sorry they have not figured out cause of issue yet.

Can you please reproduce the problem?

We can reproduce it with the files you provided but not with our own files

Plex has reproduced the problem, is there any solution? Thank you

@BigWheel
