So I finally decided to try out importing my music into plex. I currently use GoogleMusic.
Anyway I use the personal music scanners since it does not use lastfm and picks up all my id3 tags and cover art very well.
Anyway the one thing it does not pick up is the artist info. Which is understandable. I dont mind filling out that info myself but I cant figure out what to name an image in the artist folder so that it picks it up like it does for tv shows for example.
I have tried poster.jpg artist.jpg. [name of artist].jpg
Is the local media scanner/agent even setup to do this for music?
