Music folder for Audiobooks created but doesn't scan for new/changed files

i created a music folder to hold my audio-books. no matter what I do Plex will not scan the folder for changes. I have to delete the music library I created and recreate it and upon creating it the first scan will see all the changes and new items.

The folder structure is:

audiobook/author/book chapters

This is not ideal and all books are shown under the author as one books…This is how apple ibook structures it…

I am making changes to the structure

Audiobook/Author/book name/chapters

this will show up in plex as individual books under the author. But when I make the structure change Plex will not scan and update unless like I said I delete the library and create a new one.

Is there anyway to correct this issue. It is a pain to delete/recreate the library every time I add a new book or make a file structure change which I am slowly manually doing. Any new books are added in the new format.
