Music Library constantly scanning after last update, but not doing anything

Ever since the last update, the “MUSIC” library scans library files non stop. But it’s not finding anything new I put in the library. I don’t have a huge collection of music, so this should not run 24/7. I turned off the auto scanning libraries in the settings and manually stopped the scanning of the music. It scans all the other libraries fine, just hangs on the music. I’ve restarted the machine several times hoping that would fix it, but no such luck. I’ve looked at older posts here that seemed to have similar issues to find a fix, no luck there either. This is a dedicated Plex only machine running Winders 10. Anyone else having this issue since the last update?
Also forgot, I’m using Microcrap Edge for the browser.

Yup. Though I’m running it on a Synology 1815+ which isn’t exactly a powerhouse: 2.4GHz Intel Atom & 16GB of ram. Have tried turning off all the premium agent features (last.fm, etc…) but it still seems to get stuck endlessly scanning now. No issues scanning a decent sized TV & Movie collection though.

Have a fair bit of music (maybe 29K tracks) though it’s organized.

I downloaded Firefox and use that now for the server instead of Edge. That did not fix the problem, but it did do one good scan of the music section, then back to permanent scanning. I have downloaded the BETA update, got one good scan of the music section, then back to permanent scanning. But if I close out of Plex all together and start over, I get a good scan, then back to permanent scanning. And again, this is just the music section, all others scan fine.

Note, I have a pretty small collection of maybe 16,000 songs.
