Music library download for offline listening is dead_Lifetime PlexPass Now Useless_Possible Refund?

Dear Plex Users,
Am I missing something or the offline music library listeng is dead?
Did Plex team killed the Music Library Off Line Listening feature for good?

I use Plex Server only for MUSIC. Not interested at all into Movies & TV shows.

Years ago I decided to buy a Plex Lifetime Pass only becuse of the “Library offline Sync” functionality.
It worked perfectly fine for years. No size or file quantity limits, no issues at all. Any modification done on the library automatically updated and reflected on the offline. I could Sync thousands of FLAC files on portable devices.

Later, the “Sync” function has been removed, replaced by “Dowload”.

Download didn’t work very fine. To get your whole library availbale for offline listening you had to create a “fake playlist” containing the whole library…but almost impossible to really download it. At least on Android devices. It worked better on IOS.
It took forever to just Sync the Library.

Now, if I’m not missing something, also the not nice Dowload feature has been deleted.

You are now obliged to use PlexAmp for offline music download but with a 72h limit…or whater it is the new limit!
I don’t want any limit! It’s my device storage. It’s my hard drive. It’s my space and I want use it as I like it.

Can’t we just have the possibility to download again a complete Music Library for offline listening whatever the size is letting us to decide if we want waste a device full storage capability for music?!

I’d like my whole music library to be available off line!!
Other wise, I’m wandering if there is a chance to get rid of Plex Lifetime Pass asking for a complete refund.

Any suggestion for an alternative app only as a Music Server for online and offline listening instead of Plex?

So I’m missing the only functionality I need from Plex and I paid for…
Whole Music Library download for all music offline listening!

Do you know how to write a formal implementation request to the Plex team (or Plexamp team) for removing that 72h limit?
Please, no limits!
Is there any chance or trick to overcome that barrier in Plexamp?
Cause I like Plexamp, is very nice for music but now there is limit that was not present in Plex…

Or any suggetsion for another music server app that allow for full libray download with no limits.

The company has no published means for making a formal request.

The best you can do is open a new feature request in this forum and try to attract votes from other users.

Past experience shows that it is not realistic to think that your request is going to get quick traction, so I would set your expectations accordingly.

Went there and voted…but noticed that the request was originally raised back into 2020…
I’m afraid BanzaiInstitute is right…no illusion about having this feature added…
May be better to start searching for another better music server/player…
