There’s no ability to sort music folders which renders them far less useful. Also no ability to make a smartlist based on a folder which would be a similar, but different feature request I suppose.
Plex recently messed up the “Recently Added” date on ~125 files, so my Recently Added smart playlist is all messed up. I want to listen to my most recent music, and there are several ways this could be fixed, but Plex does none:
- Just use the “date created” or “date modified” (yes I know turning of the auto empty trash feature, but too late now - thats a band-aid thought, not a solution)
- Allow a smart playlist to be created on a folder (i.e. ‘folder’ - ‘is equals’ - ‘foldername’) or whatever
- Allow editing of date added
- Creating a new library, and setting the default sort order to “most recent” doesn’t work
