After the latest update to the Plex app on my iPhone, I’m no longer able to access my music library. All other libraries (movies, TV shows, etc.) work perfectly fine on my iPhone, and everything works as expected on my computer and Apple TV — so the issue seems specific to the iOS app.
Here’s what I’ve already tried (without success):
Force-closed and relaunched the app
Rebooted the iPhone
Logged out and back into the Plex app
Confirmed that the music library is enabled and accessible on my account
Deleted and reinstalled the app from the App Store
Checked network permissions and mobile data settings
Verified that I’m using the main admin user account
The music library simply does not appear in the app, even after full sync and app reinstallation. It was working fine before the most recent update.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this a known bug or is there a workaround?
They removed Music and Photos from the ‘new’ Plex app.

Music and Photos: We have built dedicated music and photo applications that are companions to the Plex app. Plexamp and Plex Photos are where access to music and photo libraries will live moving forward. As such, music and photos access will no longer be available within the regular Plex application when it gets updated to the new experience. Both companion apps are still in active development and can expect updates soon.
That “Dedicated Music app” is still crippled compared to what the Plex app used to be.
Specifically the inability to download an entire playlist to my mobile device. Admittedly it did get a little better, it went from a 24hr max to 3 day max but that STILL is NOT the entire playlist.
The Plex-app at least did allow to do just that, download what I want, not what developers decide I want!l
