Browsing through my music library today, and it seems the poster for many artist have flipped from the artist photo, to an album cover from that artist.
Not a huge deal, but I will probably try to “fix it “ the best I can. I am more curious as to what would have caused it to do this, and why album covers and not a different band photo.
Has anyone else seen similar behavior?
Not trying to be flippant or insulting, but are you certain you haven’t changed the View to “Albums?”
Valid question, but no, its still in Artist view. And when I click in, all the albums are there. Its just weird. Like it did a library refresh and decided to modify tons of artist posters
Aimee Mann used to be a photo of Aimee Man, same as Alice Cooper. And you can see All Out War is a band photo.
Its just …weird
Easy to change, but its going to be painful to do it manually
Check your file structure, you probably have artwork for albums either in the wrong path or named incorrectly.
Maybe show what one of the problem artist folders contains.
Also, is the “Prefer local metadata” option enabled for this library?
