Plex music - "artist-poster" no longer used or found by "Plex Music" agent

Not sure when it first started to happen, but when I added an album today, Plex replaced the artist poster with one of the available downloaded ones. The image file stored in the folder for the artist (artist-poster.jpg) isn’t even available as an option.

NOTE: the proper image was displayed, before I refreshed the metadata for the artist. I wanted Plex to pick up the new genres from the new album.

The album was “Trilogy” by “Ana Popović”

The music library is configured to use local metadata, use genres from embedded tags, and use local files for album artwork. There doesn’t seem to be an option for artist posters, but a local file named “artist-poster.jpg” has always worked before.

Thanks @beckfield - I did see your post, it’s in the server-linux section.

I thought maybe it could have been something fixed in your operating system version, but a new or unresolved bug in mine (Windows)

No, it’s still unresolved. Your report confirms that it isn’t server-specific.

I’ve never been able to get artist-poster to work, but I always just thought I was either doing it wrong, or just my server or internet being weird. There are a few issues I have that I’m fairly certain are just issues with my own setup, but now I wonder…
