I'm looking for some people that use Plex for playback of their Music Libraries. I personally don't use the feature but know several people that do, and with version 1.3.0 I'm planning on adding support for playback. If interested, leave a comment in the thread. I'll let the group know when there are development versions available for testing. Your feedback on the new support will help make it more useful.
If you have and use iTunes you can use sift (http://code.google.com/p/sift/) to convert an itunes library into a XSPF playlist.
Initial screens are in place for navigating the content. Will start work on basic playback support. Planned features include ability to queue the albums, or individual tracks for playback. May try to support exporting to a XSPF format for playlists.

It is planned. As part of adding the Audio/Video Queue support. It'll use a XPS file format which is a standard playlist format that can be imported and exported from various music managers.

The first development version is available for testing. Currently only navigation of the music library is supported, playback has not been implemented yet.

1.3.0-M3 is available now for download. 1.3.0-M4 will have more improvements and functionality around Music playback.
1.3.0-M4 add support for playing all tracks within an album. On screen controls and remote controls now implemented.
1.3.0-M5 is available. This contains the working music support. Playlists and Queueing will be added during 1.4.0.
This is feature complete and is the release candidate for 1.3.0.
